Peter Aguiar

Peter Aguiar is currently the Superintendent of Education for Area 7 at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Prior to this, they held various positions at the Toronto Catholic District School Board including Supervising Principal of Overseas ESL Program, Principal of St. Mary Catholic Academy, and Program Coordinator for 21st Century Learning and Academic ICT.

Peter has been with the Toronto Catholic District School Board for over 10 years and has been a key leader in many initiatives throughout their tenure. Peter is passionate about education and believes that every student deserves access to a quality education. Under their leadership, the Toronto Catholic District School Board has seen many successes including being named one of the top 50 school boards in Canada.

Peter is a strong advocate for 21st century learning and has been at the forefront of many educational technology initiatives. Peter believes that technology can play a transformational role in education and has worked to ensure that all students have access to the latest technology and resources. Under their leadership, the Toronto Catholic District School Board has become a leading adopter of educational technology in Canada.

Peter is a highly respected educator and leader within the Toronto Catholic District School Board and the larger education community. Peter is committed to ensuring that all students have access to a quality education and are prepared for success in the 21st century.

Peter Aguiar has a Supervisory Officers Certificate from the Ontario Catholic Supervisory Officers' Association, a MA Ed from the University of Toronto, a BEd from the University of Toronto, and a BA in English/Peter'story from York University.
