Grace Ryu is an experienced professional specializing in equity, inclusion, and human rights. Currently serving as the Inclusion Lead at the Toronto Police Service since February 2021, Ryu previously held multiple research positions at the University of Toronto from 2015 to June 2021, including roles as a Researcher, Research Fellow with the Ontario Research Chair in Post-secondary Educational Policy and Measurement, and Graduate Research Assistant. Additionally, Ryu worked as a Supervisor for Programs and Services at Skills for Change, focusing on project management and program design in the immigrant, refugee, and settlement sector. Ryu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership, Higher and Adult Education, a Master of Arts (MA) in Women and Gender Studies, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts (HBA) in Women and Gender Studies, Sociology, and Religion, all from the University of Toronto, as well as experience from an exchange program at Seoul National University.
