Gareth Mayo

Gareth Mayo is an accomplished professional in the hospitality and education industries, currently serving as the Industry Engagement Manager at Torrens University Australia since June 2019. In this role, Gareth leads the Industry Engagement Team nationally, focusing on generating partnerships for students and alumni across various faculties, including the highly regarded Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School. Prior to this position, Gareth gained extensive experience at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where roles spanned from Night Manager to Assistant Front Office Manager, overseeing teams and streamlining operations. Earlier in the career, Gareth also worked at Jumeirah Group as a Night Auditor. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Torrens University Australia and an IEB Matric Endorsement from Kingswood College.
