Karl McDonnell

Karl McDonnell is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Education, Inc. Karl initially joined the Company in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. He joined the Company’s Board of Directors in 2011 and in 2013 was named President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of InteliStaf Healthcare, Inc., one of the nation’s largest privately held healthcare staffing firms. He also served as Vice President of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Karl has held senior management positions with several Fortune 100 companies, including The Walt Disney Co.
