Michelle Farella

Michelle Farella is an experienced School Library Media Specialist currently working with Torrington Public Schools since February 2022. Previously, Michelle held positions such as Children's Librarian at Meriden Public Library, where responsibilities included reference desk work, programming, and collection development, as well as at New Haven Free Public Library, West Hartford Public Library, and Springfield City Library, focusing on children's literature and outreach. Michelle has also contributed to library marketing efforts and web presence management across various institutions. Educational credentials include a Master's in Library Science from Pratt Institute and a dual Bachelor’s degree in English and Theatre Studies from the University of Connecticut.
