David Sykora

David Sykora has a strong background in engineering and education. David has been working as the Director of Engineering at Torsh since May 2013. Prior to that, they served as a Physics, Math, and Computer Teacher for the Peace Corps in Tanzania from September 2010 to October 2012. Additionally, they gained experience as an Intern Engineer at Dolby Laboratories from June 2010 to September 2010, where they designed and programmed a web-based audio assessment app and improved compression assessment workflow using various programming languages. David also worked as a Laboratory Assistant and Engineering Assistant at UC Davis from October 2008 to June 2010. In 2005, David worked as a Programmer and UNICEF Consultant, and in 2002, they served as an Account Manager for a startup company.

David Sykora attended La Jolla High School from 2000 to 2004, where they received their High School Diploma. David then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of California, Davis from 2005 to 2009.
