Virginie Simon

She trained as an engineer in biotechnology at the Technological University of Compiègne (UTC), France. In parallel, she completed a BA in philosophy from the University of Nanterre, France. She then received her doctorate in nanotechnology for cancer therapy from the University Pierre and Marie Curie (UPMC), Paris. She has over 3 years of professional experience in a nanomedicine start-up, which confirmed her desire to become an entrepreneur.

In 2010, Virginie Simon founded MyScienceWork. As CEO for 10 years, Virginie Simon has developed her company in France, Luxembourg and Silicon Valley. MyScienceWork is the global scientific platform including a database of 90M of research publications and 12M patents. Since 2020 Virginie Simon has joined TORSKAL as the General Director and brings her expertise to develop the company on an international scale.
