Matt Unsworth (GAICD)

Matt Unsworth (GAICD) has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matt is currently serving as the Managing Director - APAC at Toscafund Asset Management LLP since November 2018. Before this, they worked as the Principal and Managing Director at QMG Insight, an innovative research provider analyzing global industries' value drivers. Matt was also the CEO of The Pool Ltd, where they led the production of original content for women. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director at Canaccord Genuity Limited, responsible for developing data-driven research content and analytical solutions. Matt's earlier experience includes being the Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where they headed Australian equities and EMEA specialist sales. Matt began their career as a Director and Equity Research Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank N.V.

Matt Unsworth (GAICD) completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1991, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Melbourne. As part of an Australian Government exchange program in 1994, they participated in a program at Korea University. In 2022, they enrolled in the Melbourne Business School and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. This program concluded in 2023. Later in the same year, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, focusing on Innovation. Additionally, in 2023, they studied International Business at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

Furthermore, in July 2021, Matt Unsworth obtained the "Graduate" certification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
