Dan Tupy

Dan Tupy is a highly experienced Principal Firmware Engineer currently working at Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. since May 2018. With a career spanning over two decades, Dan has held significant roles at various leading technology companies, including Micron Technology, where contributions included improving SSD performance and leading the design of a common Flash Translation Layer (FTL). Previous positions at PNY Technologies, Seagate Technology, and Emulex involved responsibilities such as developing NVMe Host Interfaces and supporting firmware development for high-profile SSD products. Dan's early experiences included designing embedded software for networking and media server systems, complemented by a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave.
