Dan K. is a Senior Human Factors Engineer with extensive experience in improving the usability, manufacturability, and serviceability of retail store solutions such as POS terminals and self-checkout workstations. Dan has worked at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Lenovo, and IBM, driving usability improvements across various hardware products. Dan has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at NC State University and as an Ergonomist at Ergonomic Technologies Corporation. Dan holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering/Human Factors, Ergonomics, and Manufacturing, an MS in Industrial Engineering/Human Factors and Ergonomics, and a BS in Exercise Science/Biomechanics.
