Jihyun Cha

Jihyun Cha has a diverse work experience history. Jihyun started their career at AMOREPACIFIC, where they worked as an Internal Communications & Corporate Support role from February 2019 to February 2020. In this role, they coordinated employee experience, managed corporate events, and implemented internal networking platforms.

After AMOREPACIFIC, Jihyun joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020 as part of the Talent Acquisition team. Jihyun focused on candidate sourcing, generating talent pipelines for various specialist tech positions in AWS. Jihyun also supported the full cycle recruiting process by sourcing passive candidates and reviewing applicant lists.

Currently, Jihyun is working at Viva Republica (Toss) since February 2021. Jihyun started as a Recruiting Business Partner for non-tech positions and later transitioned into a Recruiting Business Partner for tech positions. In these roles, they actively participate in hiring tech positions for Toss, specifically for the Product Stability Planning Team, NEXT Product, Product Manager roles, Full Stack Developer, Python Developer, Server Developer, Node.js Developer, and Security Researcher positions.

Between their different roles at Viva Republica, Jihyun also served as a Recruiting Project Manager from November 2022 to August 2023 and an Employer Branding Manager starting from August 2023.

Jihyun Cha obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yonsei University's Underwood Division from 2016 to 2021. Additionally, from 2018 to 2019, they were an exchange student at the University of Hertfordshire's Business School studying Economics. Prior to that, they attended Seoul National University from 2013 to 2016, but the degree and field of study are not specified.

Jihyun Cha also holds several certifications. In March 2021, they completed the "Mastering LinkedIn Recruiter Assessment" from LinkedIn. Jihyun obtained the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021. In February 2020, they achieved a TOEIC score of 980 from ETS. Jihyun obtained the "OPic AL" certification from ACTFL in January 2020. Additionally, they obtained the "German Zertifikat Deutsch B1" certification from Goethe-Institut e.V. in February 2015.
