Joel González Izquierdo

Joel González Izquierdo has a diverse work experience in the logistics and shipping industry. Joel'smost recent position was with Total Freight Worldwide as an Export Sea Freight Operations specialist starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services as an Export Customer Service representative, where they managed bookings, deliveries, and transport orders in the USA and Canada. Before that, they held a similar role at Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp., where they handled bookings and liaised with international customers from the Middle East and Asia. Joel also has experience in logistics and customer service through their employment at NACEX, where they negotiated with international customers and managed administrative procedures with Customs. Joel began their career as an Export Trainee at TVS SCS International Freight, where they focused on documentation management and compliance with international trade regulations.

Joel González Izquierdo completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Higher Technical Certificate in International Trade at the Institut Obert de Catalunya (IOC), specializing in international business and trade. In 2022, they enrolled at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and completed a degree in Liner Shipping Transportation, focusing on maritime transport. In addition to their academic qualifications, Joel also obtained a certification in INCOTERMS 2020 from Trivière Partners in March 2021.
