Richard Francis has extensive experience in the finance industry, with a focus on the travel and hospitality sector. Richard started their career at Saga Holidays, where they worked as a Finance Manager, responsible for management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and financial accounting. Richard then moved on to Cosmos Holidays, where they held various roles, including Finance Manager and Finance Director. In these positions, they oversaw the finance function for two travel groups, managed finance departments, and reported to managing directors. Richard also worked at Monarch Airlines as the Deputy Group CFO and later as the Managing Director of Monarch Holidays, where they led a turnaround and transformation plan. Most recently, they served as the Finance Director at Truly Holdings, a travel group company, before joining Total Management Group as the Financial Director.
Richard Francis completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Southampton from 1987 to 1990. Richard then pursued a certification as a chartered accountant from ICAEW between 1990 and 1993.
