Michael DeVaynes currently serves as the Regional Finance Manager at First Student, a position held since June 2016, previously associated with Total Transportation Services. In this role, Michael manages financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and internal location dashboards for over twelve locations, overseeing a budget totaling $500 million across several states, including New York and New Jersey. Michael applies GAAP knowledge to assist the CFO with quarterly and year-end closings using the ACS accounting system. Prior to this, Michael worked at Total Transportation Corp. from July 2009 to June 2016 as an Accounting Analyst and Finance Manager, where responsibilities included accounts receivable functions, maintenance of various billable accounts, and general ledger account management. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance from the College of Staten Island, completed between 2007 and 2011.
