Aj Venter

AJ (Poens) Venter is a seasoned professional in project management and business development with extensive experience in the engineering and construction sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at TotalEnergies since October 2022, AJ has also worked as an Executive in a self-employed capacity since April 2019. Previously, AJ held the position of Business Development Manager at CSV Construction from November 2019 to September 2022 and served as Managing Director at Power Group of Companies from January 2016 to March 2019. AJ’s long-standing career includes roles as Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, and Director at Power Construction (Pty) Ltd between May 2000 and December 2015, and as Divisional Director at Keeve Steyn (Pty) Ltd from March 1993 to April 2000. AJ's foundational experience includes positions with the Western Cape Government from July 1989 to February 1993 and a solid academic background with a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
