Debbie Taitarae

Debbie Taitarae has a diverse work experience in operations management and process improvement. Debbie currently holds the position of Vice President Operations at Total since December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Process Improvement Manager at Trukai Industries Limited for a short period in 2018.

Debbie'smajor experience comes from their time at Exxonmobil, where they held the role of PNG Lead Terminal Manager from January 2014 to October 2018. In this role, they managed daily operations, developed a young workforce, and strived for continuous improvement. Before this, they served as a Terminal Manager from October 2012 to January 2014, focusing on preventive maintenance and ensuring plant efficiency.

Debbie Taitarae also worked as a Terminal Manager at Mobil Oil from April 2011 to October 2012 and as a Project Engineer at Mobil from September 2009 to April 2011. Debbie'scareer began as an Operations Coordinator at Mobil Oil from December 2007 to September 2009.

Debbie Taitarae obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology in the years 1997 to 2000. Debbie later attended the University of Newcastle from 2002 to 2003 and earned a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) degree, specializing in Mechanical Engineering Management.
