Hugo Balthazar

Hugo Balthazar is an experienced asset manager and planning & development manager at TotalEnergies since August 2019, overseeing multiple FPSO assets and ensuring production targets are met through effective team management. Prior to this role, Hugo served as a senior planning and development specialist focusing on the Libra asset, and held positions at PetroRio, Chevron, and Nalco Champion, where responsibilities ranged from operations engineering to production chemistry. Hugo is well-versed in well and subsea operations, chemical treatment, and business development. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Project Management from Ibmec and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
