Jean Christophe Courcol

Jean Christophe Courcol has extensive experience in engineering and management within the rotating equipment domain, currently serving as the Head of the Rotating Department at TotalEnergies since November 2012, overseeing a team of 25 engineers. Previously, Courcol held various leadership roles at TotalEnergies, including Head of Instrumentation and Expert in Machinery, contributing to projects, innovation, and technical assistance across the company's assets. Earlier roles at Arkema involved establishing a mechanical integrity department and managing a team of engineers. Courcol began their career at Elf Atochem in maintenance and project engineering, following a brief service as a Commando Paratrooper in the French Air Force, recognized with a bronze medal for national defense. Courcol holds an engineering degree from Icam, obtained in 1987.
