Olivier Burger

Olivier Burger has extensive work experience in the energy industry, with a focus on renewable energy projects. Olivier currently serves as the Head of Construction Merchants Countries and PMO at TotalEnergies Renewables, leading execution teams and ensuring project management excellence for onshore renewables projects worldwide. Olivier is also the Industrial Asset Director at TotalEnergies Renewables International, overseeing project portfolio construction and supporting business growth. Prior to TotalEnergies, they held various leadership roles at ENGIE, including as Chief Industrial & HSSE Officer at ENGIE SOLAR and Chief Construction Officer at Engie Solar. Olivier's experience also includes roles at ENGIE E&P and GDFSUEZ E&P in business development, project management, and project services. Olivier began their career at TOTAL SA and TOTAL INDONESIA as a planning manager and production engineer, respectively. Overall, Olivier has contributed to the growth and success of various energy projects, and they continue to play a significant role in the renewable energy sector.

Olivier Burger earned a Master's degree in Process Engineering and Project Management from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy in 1996. In 2013, they completed the JMW Leader of Future Program, focusing on Leadership. In 2017, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
