Xavier Faugeras

Vice President Supply Chain Resilience at TotalEnergies

Xavier Faugeras has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Xavier began their career at Total as a Reservoir Engineer, where they gained expertise in various aspects of the discipline. After eight years in this role, they joined Dubai Petroleum Company as the responsible person for reservoir management of one of Dubai's offshore fields. Faugeras then took on various managerial positions within Total, including Development and Planning, Field Operations Manager & Asset Integrity Manager, R&D Project Manager "Digital Oil Field," and General Manager of TOTAL E&P Bulgaria. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Deputy VP of Quality & Performance, managing a cost reduction program. In 2021, they became the General Manager of TotalEnergies EP Malaysia. Their current position is Vice President of Supply Chain Resilience at TotalEnergies, starting in September 2023.

Xavier Faugeras holds an Engineer's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Ecole du Pétrole et des Moteurs, obtained from 1995 to 1996. Xavier also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General from IAE Toulouse, which they obtained from 1992 to 1993. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Fluid mechanics from ENSEEIHT, completing it from 1989 to 1992.
