Anya Mcloughlin has held various roles since 2014. Anya began their career as a Sales Advisor at Debenhams in 2014, followed by a Customer Assistant role at Tesco in 2015. In 2017, they took on the role of Director of Education at Immigration Education Nottingham. In 2018, they were a Contributing Writer for Impact Magazine. From 2019 to 2020, they held roles at the University of Nottingham as a Student Telethon Fundraiser, Steele and Holt as a Corporate Communications Intern, and TotallyMoney as a Customer Operations Representative, Senior Customer Operations Representative, and Customer Operations Team Lead.

Anya Mcloughlin completed their BA 1st Class in French and Politics from the University of Nottingham in 2020. Anya studied French Studies during their time there. In 2018, they attended ISIT for Traduction et interprétation. In addition, they obtained the Nottingham Advantage Award from the University of Nottingham in June 2020 and a Digital Marketing certification from FutureLearn in May 2020.
