David Zalatan

David Zalatan is an experienced professional in program and project management, with a robust background in chemistry and materials development. Currently serving as Associate Director of Program Management at Totus Medicines since February 2022, David previously held the position of Project Manager at Zymergen, Inc., where successful execution of a DARPA-funded program and multiple bio-derived material projects was achieved. Prior experience includes a role at Chevron as a Research and Development Chemist/Project Manager, managing significant projects related to engine oil degradation, and positions at Amira Pharmaceuticals and Halcyon Molecular, focusing on medicinal and research chemistry. David holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stanford University and an A.B. in Chemistry from Harvard University.
