Senior Scientist - New Technologies at Touchlight Genetics

Elena Stoyanova has a diverse work experience in various fields. Elena is currently a Senior Scientist - New Technologies at Touchlight, a role they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Platform Engineer at the same company from August 2020 to October 2022.

In addition, Elena has been a part of the Global Shapers Community as a Global Shaper, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. Elena held this position from August 2019 to March 2020.

Prior to their various roles in the UK, Elena gained experience as a Placement Student at John Innes Centre, where they worked on microbial genome engineering from October 2014 to September 2015. Elena also interned at Genicalab in 2013.

Elena began their career as a Project Intern at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences from July 2013 to August 2013.
