Emma Hughes has worked in a variety of roles in the customer service industry since 2007. Emma began their career as a Customer Service Assistant at Waitrose and then moved to a Manufacturing Assistant at Delphi Diesel Systems in 2013. In 2019, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant for Evolve Hospitality and as a Customer Service Specialist and Customer Support Manager for TouchNote. In 2020, they joined Oliver Bonas as a Customer Service Representative and has most recently worked as a Customer Service and Bookings Manager for The Stoke Travel Co.

Emma Hughes completed their International Baccalaureate at The Sixth Form College from 2007 to 2009. Emma then attended the University of Essex from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Latin American Studies. During their time at the University of Essex, they also studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán from 2012 to 2013, where they focused on Latin American Studies.
