Sam Benson has worked in various roles since 2008. Sam began their career as a Casual Assistant at Sports Direct Group, followed by a Bar Tender at Mitchells & Butlers in 2013. In 2012, they took on the role of Venue Supervisor at UWE Students' Union. In 2015, they began working as an Account Manager and Education Consultant at Show My Homework. In 2017, they joined Firefly Learning as a Product Operations Specialist, Product Evangelist, Senior Customer Success Manager, and Customer Success Manager. In 2021, they became a Product Manager at Tutorful, and in 2022 they began a Product Manager role at TouchNote. Throughout their career, Sam has been responsible for a variety of tasks such as providing excellent customer service, managing accounts, and devising strategies for internal products.

Sam Benson attended Longford Community School from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained their A-Level and AS-Level in Performance Studies, Media, ICT, and Sociology. In 2011, they then attended the University of the West of England and graduated with a BAHons in Drama and Creative Writing in 2014. In 2019, they obtained a Cross and Up Selling certification from Dale Carnegie Training. In 2021, they obtained a 2021 Pendo MVP certification from Pendo.io.
