Anita Roopani is a highly experienced nursing professional specializing in palliative care, currently serving as a Palliative Clinical Nurse Specialist at Michael Garron Hospital since January 2016. Anita leads the implementation of the Integrated Long Term Care program across Toronto Central LHIN, managing palliative care priorities, establishing performance indicators, and fostering relationships with long-term care home staff and leadership. Additional roles include Registered Nurse on the Palliative Care Unit at St. Michael's Hospital, and serving as a Registered Nurse Examiner for the International Educated Nurses Competency Assessment Program. With a Master's degree in Health Professional Education and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Anita brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to palliative care education and practice.
