Patricia O'Callaghan

Patricia O'Callaghan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Tourism and Events Queensland since January 2023, focusing on advocacy and economic development for North Queensland. Prior to this role, O'Callaghan was the Chief Executive Officer of Gold Coast Tourism Corporation from 2021 to January 2023 and led Townsville Enterprise as Chief Executive Officer from November 2011 to December 2020, enhancing tourism and visitor experiences in the region. Earlier, O'Callaghan held the position of General Manager at the Mount Isa Chamber of Commerce from December 2007 to November 2011, advocating for regional interests and economic opportunities. O'Callaghan holds a degree in Business, Public Relations and Marketing from Queensland University of Technology and has completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
