Monica MacLaverty

Monica MacLaverty is an experienced manager in the tourism sector, currently serving as the Manager for Southern Europe (France, Spain, Italy) at Tourism Ireland since July 2013. Previously, Monica held the position of Manager Overseas Marketing at The Gathering Ireland from March 2012 to December 2013 and managed Northern Europe's activities—including the Nordics, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg—at Tourism Ireland from July 2008 to November 2012. Additional experience includes managing Business Tourism at Failte Ireland in 2007 and overseeing the Australia and New Zealand markets at Tourism Ireland from 2003 to 2007. Monica's educational background includes a Mini MBA in Marketing from the Australian Institute of Management and a BBS in Languages and Marketing from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, along with a DU CIMA in International Trade and Applied Marketing from IUT Vannes.
