Mark Jones

Mark Jones possesses a solid background in leadership and management, currently serving as a Non Executive Board Member for Business Events Tasmania and TasCAHRD while also holding the position of Chief Operating Officer at Tourism Tasmania since January 2014. Previously, Mark occupied the role of Director of Human Resources at the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts from 2005 to January 2014 and worked as Administration Manager at Sigma Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd from 1993 to November 1998. Mark's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Accounting, Human Resources, and Management from the University of Tasmania, completed between 1993 and 1998.
