Curtis Kitchen

Curtis Kitchen, P.Eng., currently serves as a Technical Policy Specialist at Tourmaline Oil Corp since October 2022. Prior experience includes positions such as Chief Engineer and Director of Royalty Policy at the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources from December 2017 to October 2022, and Senior Engineering Advisor at the BC Ministry of Natural Gas Development from September 2013 to November 2017. Earlier roles involved Reservoir Engineer at the Oil and Gas Commission and Production Engineer at Enerplus, where Curtis managed significant production and optimization projects across multiple properties. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
