Samantha MacKie

Samantha Mackie is a skilled geologist currently employed at Tourmaline Oil Corp as a Geologist in NEBC, having progressed from a Geology Intern and Geology Summer Student within the same company. Experience includes creating geomodels and conducting flow simulations during an internship at Imperial Oil, alongside evaluating Triassic prospects and consulting on development strategies. Previous roles at Cenovus Energy and PETRONAS Canada involved utilizing advanced geological software and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assess geological features and risks. Samantha holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Calgary, complemented by international experience as a language and culture exchange student at Overseas Chinese University.
