Maria del Mar (which actually means Mary of the Sea) is currently working as a Guide Acquisition Specialist in the Tour Experience Department. She joined us in May 2022. Prior to working at ToursByLocals, she filled different positions in the tourism industry for over a decade. Alongside, she lived for a few months in India, and later (since she is always eager to learn) Mary became a yoga teacher and this practice became part of her daily life too. Her main life goal is to create an impact on people’s lives by helping them become a better version of themselves, so she’s a big observer and listener, she’s energetic and positive, and seeks to better understand others.
