Shalako joined ToursByLocals as a tour guide in 2013 in his hometown Montevideo, Uruguay. He shared his passion for his country's traditions like mate, football, and horse riding with hundreds of travelers worldwide before joining Toursbylocals as part of the staff in 2019. He has over 6 years of experience in tourism while being a coordinator for a Regional Company, and a holistic approach product of his anthropological studies. His motivation is to interact and learn from people and cultures everywhere and share his experience with the Guide Community.
