Thad Duprey

Thad Duprey is currently the Senior Director of Product Innovation at Tovala. Prior to this, they were the Chief Product Officer at Blanket from September 2021 to May 2022. There, they developed and refined the business concept, planned and executed the launch of the company, and grew the business from the idea stage to operational. Thad led the operations, customer experience, and product teams to develop, launch, and improve the company's core product. Thad was also responsible for company strategy and KPI development and execution as a member of the executive team.

At Blanket, Thad developed and launched 9 restaurant concepts, including market research, brand development, menu development, recipe testing, SOP and training creation, launch, and continuous improvement. Thad also led and managed operations teams at four locations, responsible for Operational P&L, including labor, COGS, and inventory. In addition, they led the creation, growth, hiring, and improvement of customer experience team, driving a "Hospitality, Delivered." experience. Thad also developed and implemented training process for all new operations employees. Under their leadership, monthly revenue doubled while marketing spend was reduced by 50%. Thad also improved variable margin to positive and created, tracked and improved Operations and Customer Satisfaction metrics. Lastly, they hired 10 people who had worked with him in previous roles.
