Norma Durazo

Norma Durazo is currently working as a Recruitment Specialist at Toward Maximum Independence. Prior to this, Norma was the First 5 First Steps Supervisor at South Bay Community Services. Norma has also gained experience as a Respite Worker at YMCA Childcare Resource Service and as a Substitute Teacher at Children's Growing Center. Norma has a background in early childhood education and psychology, holding a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Colorado Denver and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Spanish from San Diego State University. Norma has also been involved in various child development and education roles at organizations such as Camp Adventure Child and Youth Services and AmeriCorps VISTA.
