Yvette Dueser

Yvette Dueser has extensive work experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Their most recent role was as the Director of DEI at Tower Health, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Inclusion & Diversity at Burlington Stores, Inc. from 2020 to 2022. Yvette also served as a Program Manager for Inclusion & Community Partnerships at Burlington Stores, Inc. from 2019 to 2020.

Before their time at Burlington Stores, Inc., Yvette worked as a Guest English Teacher / Cultural Ambassador at the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education in Korea from 2017 to 2019. Yvette created engaging lessons that catered to students with different proficiency levels and promoted the value of diversity and inclusion.

Yvette also has experience in program management and strategic support. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Program Manager for Constituency Group Programs at the National League of Cities. In this role, they provided support to five affinity groups and organized various events and initiatives.

Prior to that, Yvette worked at The American Institute of Architects (AIA) in various roles related to diversity and inclusion. Yvette was a Senior Manager and later a Manager of Diversity and Inclusion, where they supported the national Diversity Council and implemented outreach campaigns and initiatives. Yvette also managed community outreach programs that introduced architecture as a STEM career to underrepresented groups. Yvette started their time at AIA as an Administrative Assistant.

Overall, Yvette Dueser has accumulated significant experience in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in various organizations, including strategizing, program management, and community outreach.

Yvette Dueser, CDP holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History, Art History, and Judaic Studies from the University at Albany, SUNY. Yvette also attended Western High School. In addition, Yvette has obtained certification as a National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional (NDCCDP) from the National Diversity Council in August 2022.
