Doug Whitener

Doug Whitener is a seasoned mechanical engineer currently employed at Tower Laboratories, Ltd. since May 2022. Prior to this role, Doug served as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Structural Concepts Corporation from February 2013 to June 2022 and worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Shape Corp. between August 2010 and February 2013. Doug's experience also includes a lengthy tenure as a firefighter with the Blue Lake Township Fire Department from May 2001 to September 2017. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Engineering Management from Southern New Hampshire University, earned between October 2019 and August 2022, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing Engineering from Western Michigan University (2005-2010), and an Associate’s Degree in Science and Arts from Muskegon Community College.
