Ian Liu

Ian Liu is an experienced data analyst currently working at Tower Research Capital since July 2023, following a role as a research assistant at The Wharton School from September 2021. Previous experience includes serving as a teaching assistant for CIS 5200 Deep Learning at the University of Pennsylvania and as a data scientist intern at Capital One. Ian has also contributed as a teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota, focusing on programming methods, and worked as a student administrative assistant handling donor information. In addition, Ian gained research experience at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, utilizing machine learning for genetic statistical models, and completed a software engineering internship at xOps, Inc. Ian holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Minnesota.
