Peiran Liu

Peiran Liu is a quantitative researcher at Tower Research Capital, specializing in high-frequency trading strategies since September 2020. Liu previously served as a research assistant at the University of Washington, applying Bayesian statistics in demography and climate science from September 2015 to January 2021. Additional experience includes a data scientist internship at Google, focusing on the migration of Bayesian Structural Time Series Models, and a quantitative researcher internship at Citadel LLC, where Liu built statistical models for financial problem-solving. Other internships include an applied scientist role at Amazon and a data scientist position at CDK Global. Liu holds a PhD and MSc in Statistics from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Peking University.
