Saurabh Kumar

Saurabh Kumar is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in quantitative trading and research. Currently at Tower Research Capital since April 2016, Saurabh leads a C++ development team focused on pricing, overseeing the Price Server, a critical real-time pricing resource for high-frequency trading. Prior to this role, Saurabh gained valuable insights as a Senior Analyst and Analyst at AlphaGrep Securities, and co-founded Zumbl.Com, which facilitated engaging conversations online, amassing significant user activity. Early career experiences include a research internship at NetApp, where Saurabh proposed a machine learning model for organizing bug reports, and a project during Google Summer of Code developing a library for hardware performance monitoring. Saurabh holds a B. Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
