Melissa Contrestano

Melissa Contrestano has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Melissa is currently serving as the Senior Talent Acquisition Lead - North America at Tower Semiconductor, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Advisor at the same company from February 2021 to October 2021.

Before joining Tower Semiconductor, Melissa worked as a Talent Acquisition Advisor at bp from May 2019 to November 2020. Melissa also gained valuable experience as a Talent Acquisition Advisor at BHP from January 2017 to February 2019.

Melissa started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at NES Fircroft in December 2012, where they primarily sourced candidates for major Oil & Gas Operators, with Shell as their primary account.

Prior to entering the talent acquisition field, Melissa held marketing and advertising roles. Melissa served as the Marketing Manager at Churchill Downs Louisiana Horseracing Co LLC d/b/a Fair Grounds Race Course from January 2009 to April 2011. Before that, they worked as the Advertising Manager at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino from June 2007 to December 2008 and as the Advertising Coordinator at the same company from February 2005 to June 2007.

Melissa Contrestano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing, from California State University, Fresno. Melissa has also obtained the certifications of LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter from LinkedIn in 2014 and Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) from AIRS powered by ADP in 2012.
