Antwan Morrison

Antwan Morrison has a vast and diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Antwan currently holds the position of Financial Director at the Town of Apex since January 2023. Before that, they served as the Financial Director at the Town of Holly Springs from October 2020 to January 2023. Prior to their directorial roles, Antwan worked at the Town of Wake Forest, NC where they started as a Financial Operations Manager from October 2013 to June 2017 and then moved on to become the Assistant Finance Director from July 2017 to October 2020. Their career began at the City of Durham as a Senior Accountant from June 2010 to September 2013. Prior to that, they gained experience as an Accounting Specialist at the City of Greenville, NC from March 2008 to June 2010. Antwan's professional journey began at Catawba College where they served as an Accounting Associate (Assistant Controller) from May 2005 to March 2008.

Antwan Morrison's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Catawba College. Antwan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration in 2005. Later, in 2010, Antwan furthered their education at Gardner-Webb University, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting, completing it in 2011.

Additionally, in March 2011, Antwan obtained a certification as a Certified Local Government Finance Officer from the UNC School of Government.
