Amy Harwood

Amy Harwood is an experienced marketing and outreach professional with a strong background in event planning and economic development. Currently serving as the Marketing & Outreach Manager at the Town of Barnstable since July 2009, Amy has contributed to numerous special events and improved communication channels for public event permitting. Previous roles include consulting for the Town of Brewster's Recreation Department, where Amy significantly increased program offerings and revenue, and serving as Director of Marketing for First Night Boston, which generated substantial Fourth Quarter revenue for the travel industry. Additional experience includes positions in sales and marketing at the PAUL TSONGAS ARENA, New England Development, and Worcester Centrum Arena, along with early career roles in legal and broadcast sectors. Amy holds a B.A. in Speech Communications from Bridgewater State University and a certificate in Government Communication from Suffolk University.
