Kelli (Spencer) King, MPA, SHRM-CP has accumulated a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Kelli currently serves as the Human Resources Director for the Town of Belmont. Before this, they were a Human Resources Generalist for the Town of Norwood. Kelli has also worked in people operations coordination for thoughtbot and as a Human Resources Coordinator for The Princeton Review. Earlier in their career, they held various positions such as Club Staff - Stand Lead at Gillette Stadium, Human Resources Assistant for the United States Military Entrance Processing Command, Voucher Examiner for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office Manager for Special Olympics Massachusetts, Sales Associate for Alex and Ani LLC, and Sales and Marketing Administrative Assistant for Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum. Overall, Kelli has acquired extensive experience in human resources and administrative roles.

Kelli (Spencer) King, MPA, SHRM-CP, completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at Suffolk University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Bridgewater State University, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. In 2007 and 2008, Kelli studied Sport Management at Daniel Webster College. Apart from their formal education, Kelli also holds additional certifications, including Adult Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, obtained in April 2022. Kelli also obtained the MMA-Suffolk Certificate in Local Government and Leadership from Suffolk University in May 2021. Furthermore, Kelli is a SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) since August 2020, certified by SHRM.
