Jill Goldsmith, ICMA-CM, serves as the Town Manager for the Town of Chatham since August 2011, overseeing a $55 million budget, 190 employees, and a population of 6,200, while managing a robust tourist community. Goldsmith has extensive municipal management experience, including roles as Town Administrator in Kingston and Charlton, and Town Manager in Uxbridge, as well as interim leadership in Princeton. Significant contributions include chairing the Management Caucus for the Massachusetts Joint Labor-Management Committee for Municipal Police and Fire from 2016 to 2022, and serving as President of the Municipalities Organized for Regional Effectiveness. Educational qualifications include a BA in Political Science/Economics from UCLA, a Certificate in Local Government from Suffolk University, and credentialing from the International City/County Managers Association.
