Elizabeth Worner

Elizabeth Worner is an accomplished planning technician currently employed by the Town of Zebulon since January 2024. Prior to this role, Elizabeth served as the Development Services Coordinator for the Town of Clayton from February 2022 to December 2023. Elizabeth's experience includes a tenure at the City of Raleigh Municipal Government as a senior utilities specialist, and earlier, as a project manager at Cisco, where leadership was demonstrated on the Verizon Wireless Ethernet Backhaul Project. Additionally, Elizabeth held the position of business manager at the Public School Forum of NC, overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, and served as the budget manager at the NC Department of Public Instruction, managing a $22 million budget for technology services.
