Andrew Moore currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at the Colorado School of Mines since June 2022 and as the Mayor of the Town of Erie, having been elected in November 2024 after previously serving three terms from 2004 to 2010. Prior experience includes the Chief Information Officer role at Boulder Valley School District from April 2010 to June 2022, where significant improvements were made in educational technology for approximately 30,000 students. Andrew also held various leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, including Sr. Director of IT PMO and Six Sigma Master Black Belt, facilitating significant optimization initiatives. Additionally, Andrew served on the Board of Directors for Resource Central, focusing on resource conservation, and holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder.
