Town of Grand Chute
Thomas Nicholson is an experienced Firefighter/Critical Care Paramedic currently serving with the Town of Grand Chute since March 2021 while also instructing as an EMS Adjunct at Fox Valley Technical College since October 2021. Additionally, Thomas has been an ACLS/PALS Instructor for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association since September 2016. Previously, Thomas held various paramedic roles, including Flight Paramedic with VALLEY MED FLIGHT INC. and ED Paramedic with ThedaCare, and contributed to emergency services in military settings, notably as a firefighter/paramedic in Iraq and southern Afghanistan. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, along with diplomas in EMT-Paramedic and Fire Protection Technician.
