Matt Hughes

Matt Hughes, MPA, is the Chief of Finance at Blueprint North Carolina, serving as an elected Commissioner on the Board of Commissioners for the Town of Hillsborough, NC since April 2018. With a strong background in finance and operations management, Matt has held roles such as Second Vice Chair at the North Carolina Democratic Party and Accounting and HR Manager at Forward Cities. Matt also has experience in policy analysis and public relations through roles like Policy and Operations Manager at Leadership Now Project. Matt holds an MPA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing a certificate in Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program from Harvard Kennedy School.
