Stephen Shaw

Stephen Shaw, MBA, CFO, RN, is a seasoned emergency services professional with extensive experience in both firefighting and healthcare. Since August 1999, Stephen has served as Assistant Fire Chief of Administrative Services for the City of Fort Lauderdale, overseeing EMS, Mobile Integrated Health, and Professional Development. With a background as Battalion Chief of Emergency Medical Services for Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, Stephen has also held significant roles in various organizations, including the International Association of Fire Chiefs, FEMA USAR Task Force II as a Hazmat Specialist, and the Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety as an instructor. An accomplished educator, Stephen has contributed as adjunct faculty at Broward College and served as Vice Chair of the South Florida Regional Planning Council. Stephen holds an MBA in Health/Health Care Administration from Florida Atlantic University, where a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing were also earned.
